Chris McQuillan Joins forRefugees Trustee Team!

by forRefugees
Chris McQuillan, sporting a beard and a light-colored shirt, stands confidently in front of a blurred world map. As part of the Trustee Team forRefugees, his presence embodies leadership and compassion in bridging worlds. | Support refugees across Europe in Greece, France, the UK and the Balkans

We are thrilled to welcome Chris McQuillan to the forRefugees trustee board! With a background in contracts and procurement management, Chris brings in-depth experience fundraising for different charities, bringing valuable insights and expertise to our team.

Chris’s passion for humanitarian causes is deeply personal. His family’s history of displacement during WWII has shaped his commitment to standing with refugees today. This dedication led him to forRefugees during his incredible journey walking the British coastline with his dog, Moose, where he raises awareness and support for displaced people and other charities close to his heart.

Chris’s expertise and lived connection to the challenges of forced displacement make him an invaluable addition to our trustee board. His role will help us:

✔️ Strengthen our strategy and policies to maximise impact
✔️ Continued effective, transparent and efficient use of funds
✔️ Champion refugee rights with the same dedication that inspired Waggy Walks

Welcome to the team, Chris! We’re really delighted to have you on board!
