People Are Not Numbers: Reject “One-in, One-out“.
The UK’s new “one-in, one-out” deal with France, in which one person seeking asylum will be accepted into the UK for each one that is deported back to Europe, treats human lives as bargaining chips. This punitive policy undermines the Refugee Convention and creates a two-tier asylum system that unfairly penalises people based on how they arrive, rather than their human right to protection.
