Dear friends,

Today is our 6th Birthday and it’s been too busy to even make a post ! But, we are taking this moment to at least say thank YOU for being with us for 6 years. For believing in us and trusting us and giving us a lot of love and support along the way.

In just the past 12 months your donations and solidarity have meant we could spend more than £250k supporting over 80 grassroots projects in Greece, The Balkans, France and more, meaning 10,000’s people got the urgent help they needed. See our Impact page.

It’s fair to say that when we started six years ago we didn’t think we’d still be here all these years later. We really thought the political and tabloid hostility would be short term. We were sadly very wrong. But we’re not going anywhere. The global and European response to Ukrainians since the February 2022 invasion from Russia has shown what’s possible for everyone. We just need to choose to help – it’s really that simple. At forRefugees we chose to help everyone equally six years’ ago and we continue to make that same choice today.

Thank you you gorgeous lot!

Let’s see what year 7 has in store for us all…
