What a day! On Sunday 15 September a mighty team of over-30s (ok, mostly over-40s!), alongside our four-legged superstar Moose the dog, donned our kilts and took on the Edinburgh KiltWalk 2024 – our first ever #KiltWalk in support of forRefugees! Eight of us took on the challenge, a combination of our forRefugees team and our corporate sponsors, Limitless DMC.
With 20 miles ahead of us, we set off through the beautiful Edinburgh countryside, fueled by determination, camaraderie and a whole lot of enthusiasm.
Every step we took was for refugees in urgent need of support. With governments and large NGOs failing to act, we at forRefugees step in to ensure people fleeing conflict and persecution have access to essential aid, shelter and hope. Your donations supporting our challenge mean food for the hungry, warmth for the cold and a lifeline for those left without one.
An Unforgettable Challenge
🚶♀️ 20 miles is no small feat – it took us 8 hours (yes, our legs are feeling it!)
🏴 Four of our team traveled up from London – for two, it was their first time in Scotland!
